Project Description

The description of works comprises major internal demolition together with alteration and refurbishment of the existing House of Lords Refreshment Department. The basement works involved the fit out of the Peers Court Basement Box and alterations to the existing refreshment department areas and the creation of new plant areas within the basement.

The ground floor works involved alterations to the kitchen and bar areas along with the refurbishment of the Peers Dining servery and Principal floor corridor works. There was also extensive builders work associated with new extract and supply ducts on the Principal mezzanine floor and at high level.

These works were carried out in 2 phases and in a live working environment. The highest level of security was maintained throughout the duration of the project.
